Classic/Antique Car Repair: fuse box on 1955 ford fairlane, ford fairlane club, 1955 ford fairlane

can you tell me where the fuse box is on a 1955 ford fairlane club sedan, i have looked under the dash and on the side panels under the dash. thanks for any info.

The idea of a centralized location for fuses was not yet thought of by Ford in 1955.  You'll have to examine each wire that brings power to each of your electrical devices - there will be a cartridge type fuse holder in the wire - somewhere!  There is a circuit breaker on the headlight switch, and probably a separate fuse on the headlight switch for the parking and tail/brake lights.
