Is there a Chevy sight similar to the Henry Ford Museum. I need to verify equipment, Eng/Trans ect for my 1968 SS Camaro Conv. I would like to verify by VIN

I do not believe GM has a similar service, other than the one that Pontiac division offers.  But I am not really that knowledgeable about this subject, I suggest you contact the folks at Cars and Parts Magazine - they have a book on the subject of Matching Numbers for Camaros - it will tell you all you need to know to check your car.  Their web site is:
