Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1950 Ford Hood, old dog, bumpers

Question
My hood sits approx. 1/4 inch below the fender line. Is there a way to adjust the hood so it is flush with the fenders? Thanks for your time from an old dog learning new tricks.

If it sits low in the back the hood hinges can be adjusted. If it sits low in the front there should be hood bumpers on each front corner of the hood. Perhaps it is as simple as the rubber being squashed or missing from the bumpers or to adjust the bumpers.
