Classic/Antique Car Repair: 63 Pontiac Bonneville, pontiac bonneville, santa cruz county

Our headliner in our 1963 Bonneville hardtop has a tear in it, and the threads
are coming loose in some places. Can we find someone who will repair it and
leave it original or do we need to replace the entire thing? Do you know who we
can go to? We are in Santa Cruz County in California.

Answer
With complete headliner relacements running about $85 I would not see repairing the old one. I would imagine that would cost $300-$450.

Since I am east of Houston Texas and have not been to California, I would not have a clue where you would need to go.
