Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1967 Lincoln Continental 462, lincoln continental, firing order

I have a 1967 continental 462 and would like to know what is the the firing order of the spark plugs when replacing the distributor cap?

Answer
The firing order is 15426378. There should be a #1 on the distributor cap indicating that should be number 1 terminal unless someone has installed the distributor incorrectly. There should be numbers on the intake manifold runners where it contacts the cylinder head that identifies the cylinder numbers.
