Classic/Antique Car Repair: blinking battery light, pontiac gto, voltage regulator

Question
The battery light on my 65 Pontiac GTO blinks intermittently.  Car seems to run fine and battery is charging.  Ideas?

Hea- well I would check the voltage out put from the alt.ad see what  the battery is puttig out for volts. as it should be 13 +   any  less is not good.  do  you have a small black box on the fender well like a voltage regulator,etc.  chek your voltage out put. it might be regulator box  alt.or regulator  ok
