Classic/Antique Car Repair: 356 porsche, southeast michigan chapter, porsche club of america

Dave     I am looking for old time mechanic that knows 356's like the back of his hand. I took my 1964 C coupe to a shop and spented over 2500.00
and my car run worse and I have been back many of times to complain with little results.I just don't want to deal with them guys again. This could even be a VW guy oldtimer also, I live outside of Milwaukee,Wisconsin  thanks

It really pains me to hear stuff like this...and I'm sure I don't even know 1/10th of the story!

I'm on the other side of the country so I don't know anyone to suggest for you, but...

The Porsche Club of America has chapters all over the country and these folks just love to show off and talk about their cars.  I'll bet $$$$ the local chapter has someone who knows someone who could be helpful to you.

www.pca.org/ ----This is the countrywide level and they operate a forum, etc

www.sempca.org/----This is a Southeast Michigan chapter, so maybe there's a "very-close-to-Milwaukee-chapter".

Tell these guys your story and I'll bet you find someone to help you.
