where is the inertia switch for the fuel pump located and how do i reset it

Hi Chad,
I take it that you are talking about a ser. 3 XJ-6 Jag?
The inertia switch is on the front pasangers door post beside the dash. Just pull off the plastic cover and reset it with the reset button. It kicks off if you bump into something.
