Dodge Repair: changing headlight bulb, halogen bulbs, oily surface

How do I change a headlight bulb (not the entire headlamp assembly)in a 2001 dodge stratus

Answer
REMOVAL
CAUTION: Do not touch the glass of halogen bulbs with fingers or other possibly oily surface, reduced bulb life will result.

Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable.
Remove headlamp unit retaining screws.
Remove headlamp unit to expose back of unit.
Disconnect wire connector from back of headlamp bulb.
Rotate retaining ring counterclockwise.
Remove retaining ring.
Pull headlamp bulb and remove from headlamp unit.
