I read your response to the question on the upper control arm bushings on 11-23-07. Would it be much different for the lower ones on a 2001 2 wheel drive Dakota?
AnswerREMOVAL
Raise and support vehicle.
Remove wheel and tire assembly.
Remove shock absorber,(Refer to 2 - SUSPENSION/FRONT/SHOCK - REMOVAL) .
Remove stabilizer bar link from the lower control arm.
Remove the coil spring,(Refer to 2 - SUSPENSION/FRONT/SPRING - REMOVAL) .
Remove lower control arm mounting bolts (LOWER CONTROL ARM) from the frame mounts and remove the arm.
