Dodge Repair: Dodge Caravan Tranny, solenoid pack, dodge caravan

hello,

i have a dodge caravan (2000). that wont shift out of second gear.  i changed the input and output sensors, did not fix the problem. i took it to the doge dealer to have the trany computer read and they told me that it has a control module P0750 code.  they said it needs a new TCM ($225) and it would take one and half hours to replace.  does this sound right?  is it something i can replace at home, i most of my own work.  thank you for your help.`it is great to have people you ask that will tell you the truth.

TCM PIN 57 TO GND OPEN
TCR OUTPUT (SWITCHED B+) OPEN
L-R SOLENOID CONTROL CKT SHORT TO GROUND
SOLENOID CNTRL CKT TO SOLENOID CONNECTOR OPEN
L-R SOLENOID SHORTED IN SOLENOID PACK
TCM OPEN GROUND DEFAULT
TRANSMISSION SOLENOID PACK OPEN (L-R SECTION)
INTERMITTENT CODE P0750
TEST ACTIO
