Dodge Repair: power outlet/cigarette lighter, cell phone charger, fuse panel

Question
In my Dodge Dakota Quadcab- the power outlet and cigarette lighter isn't working. Tried switching fuses, but that didn't seem to be it. Two things that happened right before the problem started- we used a cell phone charger, and we put in a new radio/cd player. Could we have crossed
some wires somewhere?

Hi,
Sounds like to me that's exactly what you have done.  Try reconnecting the wires that you took loose and then either run a wire from the accessories plug on the fuse panel and add an in-line fuse.  Or go down to Wal=Mart and get an adaptor to go from the stock radio to the type of radio you are trying to put in.  they cost between 12-15 dollars.
