Dodge Repair: 98 dodge Ram issues, vacuum leak, vacuum lines

I have a '98 Dodge Ram 5.2 and when I step on the gas the a/c stops blowing ( no air coming out of the vents) is there a was to stop this from happening? Something with the vacume? It drives me crazy. Thanks

Hi Don,

I can only tell you what you already know.. A vacuum leak
is most likely the problem.  You need to start under the hood and check ALL vacuum lines.  Even a broken or disconnected line that is unrelated to the a/c can cause a problem because when you step on the gas your vacuum will drop more than it should... then work your way under the dash...
