Dodge Repair: fuel, chevron with techron, quality gasoline

Hi.I have a 2000 dodge 1500 4x4 reguar cab with a magnum V8 I was wondering about a couple of things. 1- can I use regular gas(87) insted of (89)or
(93). 2- When you engauge the 4 wheeldrive.Do you have to take it out of overdrive?

a few things about gas to remember the higher the octane the hotter the engine will run but 87 is fine just use a quality gasoline such as chevron with techron. the average person will never notice a difference between 87 and 89. if they say they do then they are highly sophisticated fuel anlysis machines!!.. as for the 4X4 I never recommend using overdrive while using 4X4 this causes overheating and premature trans wear
