Dodge Repair: Battery corrosion, dodge sport, mini van

2001 Dodge Sport Mini-van.
What's the best way to remove the corrosion from battery post/terminals? Can it be prevented from coming back?

the best way is go to the parts store they sell a top post cleaner . it is a tool
Then they also sell a battery calble spray to prevent the cor. from comeing back.
