Dodge Repair: air bag light, hello dawn, dodge neon

I have a 2001 Dodge Neon and my airbag light won't go off. What could be the reason for this, and is this a serious problem.

this is a air bag light it is a bad senser i would try to pull the pos cable for one min and then hook it back up and see if it resets . other wise hun it will have to have a diagnostiac test to see what senser is bad it is not bad to drive should be not a problem good luck to u and u have a pretty name pete
