Dodge Repair: torque converter, torque converter clutch, dodge ram

Question
alright pete,  I bought a 2000 dodge ram a couple of days ago from a used car dealership up north.  Now I love this truck it runs great and is fun to drive but then yessterday the chekc engine light came on.  So I took it to autozone and they did a scan on it and it came out to be the torque converter clutch now I am just kinda wondering how often the sonsor can go bad or am I really lookin at alot of work and money here.......

it is common to go did u get a warnerty with the truck hope you did . how many miles on it they are know to go the trannys in thoes trucks dont last being honest with u it would be wise to have a stick installed run for ever with starnard tranny pete
