Ford Repair: Tire sensors, 17 inch rims, rim size

I have a 2010 ford edge with 18 inch tires that are equipped with tire sensors  inside the tires. Would the same sensors work on 17 inch rims same vehicle 2010 edge.

yes but, if they are the type mounted to the valve stem, then you'll be o.k. just swap them from wheel to wheel ( they varied in this year ). if they are the type that are held in by a large clamp that fits around the rim, you'll need to purchase small straps but all in all either sensor in interchangable regardless of rim size
