QUESTION: Which front end is under a 1996 Ford F-150 4x4? Truck has a 5.8L V8.

QUESTION: I'm sorry i guess i should have been a little more specific.  I was asking if it was a Dana 50, or Dana 44.  Sorry for the confusion.

Hello Clint, There should be a tag on thr frt diff, the numbers on the tag can be cross referenced and will denote type. You can try a general search with the numbers on line, call your local dealer or email me back and I'll get with my parts dept. to help you out. Thanks Tony
