i am changing my power window motor on the driver's side of my 2005 ford expedition.  the window is stuck down and i need to get it back up but the motor is obviously broken.  howdo i do this without damaging the bond between the regulator and glass? thank you

hey there,
when i run into this problem, i try to get the the regulator undone from the door, at that point you can lift the window up high enough to remove the bolts clamping the window to the regulator, some are also held together with rivets, let me know if you have any other questions. good luck
