Ford Repair: Engine Swap, ford f 150, 2006 ford f 150

Hello my name Is Ryan. I have a 2006 Ford F-150 with a 4.6 motor in it. Can i swap that out with a 5.4 or bigger motor without alot of problems?

Hey there. To do this engine swap cheaply, you will need in your possesion the truck that you are pulling the engine out of. You will need everything from the evap controls to the PCM. ANd to be honest. i beleiev the 4.6 liter is a better engine to begin with.. it is more reliable then the 5.4 liter. i almost never see problems eith the 4.6.
