Ford Repair: PIN entry, digit pin code, pin entry

I just purchased a used 2000 Expedition and was wondering if there is a way to recover the 5-digit PIN code, you can enter on the PIN pad under the driver's side door handle, to gain access to the vehicle without a key? Can I take it to a local dealer and show proof of ownership and have them assist me, or is there a way to do it without assistance?

Hello Simone, On a 2000 Expedition the code is still located on the module located up under the dash on the left side, it is probaly white or creme in color and the numbers are in bold print. You'll have to get pretty good up under the dash to see it. Hope this helps Thanks Tony
