Ford Repair: 95 Mercury Grand Marquis, mercury grand marquis, turn signal switch

Brake lights and turn signals went out at same time. All other lights working. Is this a flasher or light control module problem (under dash) or possibly in turn signal module on steering column?

more than likely a turn signal switch if bulbs are ok-flasher won't kill brake lights but a turn signal switch will-be sure and check all fuses and make sure wires are ok in t/s switch connector sometimes if you have a tilt wheel they will pull out of connector.
