Ford Repair: auto lights, headlamp switch, auto lights

Hi< I have a 2001 F-150 super crew pick-up. I am having a problem with the automatic headlights, They will not turn in automatically when it is dark. I have replaced the auto light amplifier sensor that I purchased from ford and it did not correct the problem. Is there something else that  needs to be replace? any information is gratefully appreciated, Thanks Gary

hey there. I have actually come arosst his twice in the last couple of weeks and both times on an f-150, this first one just ened up being a fuse.. there is a fuse that does run the auot lamps seperatly and the second time is was a faulty headlamp switch..  first check the fuses, let me know what hapenes.
