QUESTION: 2001 windstar sel 3.8 motor starts fine when cold and runs good ,but will not restart when hot but will restart after 20 minutes ? Thanks For Any Help

ANSWER: does it spin over ok?-could be weak module causing spark problem-coolant temp sensor causing fuel shutoff-dirty idle motor or throttle bore.

sensor is located on top left side of engine probably in intake or head will have two wires going to it-

yes it is safe to spray cleaner in throttle bore just not to much at once-so you can spin engine over to make sure it don't hydralock by getting to much fluid in cylinder.
