Ford Repair: F150 1990 truck, windsor engine, f150 ford

my F150 Ford truck has a 350 windsor engine the engine light keeps coming on would idle but then keeps dying out and then won't start we put a new computer on it and a modular ignition switch  on it and a new starter and plenty of gas in it and it does not overheat at all just engine light on sometimes  but it just won't run starts but dies any suggestions???Help

first have it scanned to see what is turning on the light keep in mind you may have some false codes because you have been working on it and during the replacement of parts you may have set a code. once you have it scanned you can follow-up with me and maybe i can lead  you in the right direction.
