Ford Repair: sending units, oil pressure, oil filter

the temp. & oil pressure gauges in dash do not work on my 1988    F-150 5.0 engine, where are the sending units located on engine? thank you

odds of both quitting same time are slim unless fuse or wiring problem and i don't remember if an 88 has cvr in cluster-but if they quit at different time maybe it is sending units-oil is near oil filter (right above it) and coolant is near thermostat housing on intake.
