Ford Repair: headlight switch replacement 91 F150, hook tool, fog lamp

Need to replace headlight switch it went bad. Bought new one but cant get old one out. How do you get the old switch out?

Hi Wanda,
1.Disconnect battery ground cable
2. Remove wiper and headligh switch knobs. Use hook tool to release  knob lock tabs
3. Remove fog lamp sw knob (if equiped)
4. Remove the lower left finish panel (nut is behind panel)
5. Unscrew mounting nut and remove switch from panel. Then remove wiring connector from switch.
