With a total A/C system flush, new accumulator and compressor with no oil, how much total system oil should be added?

Answer
I would add about 8-10 oz oil to it-- there's no exact specification so most places go by the 2 oz  rule-- 2 ounces of oil per each dry component (excluding hoses).  That would mean 2 in the compressor, 2 in the evaporator, 2 in the condenser, 2 in the accumulator.  A little extra will not hurt anything.  Hope this helps,
