Ford Repair: heating system, daniel ford, cold climate

I have tried everything my heat in a 98 f-150 will not get or stay hot live in a cold climate and it can be very uncomfortable, 98 f-150 2wd, triton v-8 4.6 liter

Ford had a lot of problems with the blend air door breaking inside the A/C box. The plastic cracks and it can't route the air around the heater core. Check with your local Ford dealer as I believe there is an updated part. I believe you might have to remove the dash to fix it.
