Ford Repair: f150 stuck in park, brake light switch, brake master cylinder

My 95 f150 will start in park but wont shift out of park once started.  I have to start it in neutral then shift into drive.  Also my ABS light is blinking.  Am I looking at a big problem?

This is a simple sounding problem. Check your brake light fuse. The brake light switch is what allows you to shift from park.  Also, the ABS light is flashing a code at you. Count the number of flashes after the key is turned on. Odds are it is a loss of power code.  Now, if it is blown then please check your cruise control cancel switch on the brake master cylinder. They fill up with fluid, short out & blow the fuse or catch fire!!! They have a recall on it. So if it has cruise please get it done.
