Ford Repair: 1985 Ford Tarus-Headlight, ford tarus, headlight condensation

Condensation in passenger side headlight.  Am told it will not pass inspection and the entire headlight assembly needs to be replaced.  Is this an "at home " job?  Does it need to go to the shop?

If you are mechanically inclined at all you should be able to do a headlamp swap. After you get the new one, observe where the mounting points are and figure out what to remove. I don't think it is technically difficult, just knowing which bolts/screws to remove. You may have to remove the parking light to get to one of the bolts.
