Ford Repair: EGR Valve/Sensor, flexible metal, metal pipe
QuestionWhere is the EGR valve/sensor in a 1994 Ford Explorer? Thanks.
AnswerYour Explorer has a DPFE system. Originally the sensor was metal, replacements have been plastic. Two hoses and one connector, usually mouned on the side of the intake manifold plenum.
The EGR valve is on top of the engine, has a vaccum hose attached and a flexible metal pipe running to the exhaust manifold.
