Ford Repair: Cylinder 4 Misfire, vacuum leak, 1996 ford explorer

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 6 cylinder. I hooked up my DTC a got a code (P0304) Cylinder 4 Misfire. What is it going to take to repair and can I do it myself?

Are you having problems or just checking codes? If the engine is running ok, clear the code and see if it comes back.

A misfire code can be many things, ignition, a bad injector, valves, vacuum leak, or anything that controls spark and fuel injectors.
