Questioni need to find a wiring schmatic for cooling fan circuit for a 2004 e450 6.0 liter diesel, the fan belt come aprt an cut male connecttor from engine side harness now i just have 5 wire, i purchased pigtail kit from ford but all wires are black, if you can assist or point me in the direction of a schmatic it would be greatly appreciatted.repaired cause of belt failure.
AnswerI cannot copy the file I need for you, it's in Adobe and coded. Do you have access to Alldata or Mitchell on line manuals? You might find it in there. If not I'll see what else I can come up with.
I don't know if I should refer you elsewhere, but another website I am on staff is flatratetech.com. We have a diesel forum over there that one of the techs might be able to get you the items you need directly.
I am home with a busted ankle so I don't currently have access to online manuals. Think I'll work on that today.
OK, here ya go, hope this makes sense.
Hold the connector with the wires away from you, the large tab on top, the horizontal tab on the right, the diagonal tab on the left.
Circuits are as follows: 4,3,2,1
8,7,6,5
1-fan speed signal Red/dark green
2-signal return Brown/pink
3-not used
4-switched ground dark blue
5-voltage from PCM relay Red
6-reference voltage brown/light green
7&8-not used.
This should allow you to line up the connector wires with the harness properly. Once in a while we run into a problem with the colors, but this should be good since it's from Ford. Sorry for the lack of a diagram, my computer skills are such that I don't know how to draw something. Hope this helps you,let me know.
