Ford Repair: ford engines, ford engines, ford probe

Question
i have a 1995 ford probe and i want to put a new engine in it. i was thinking about putting a 1995-2004 3.8 in it. It cutrrently has a 3.0 liter v-6. Will the 3.8 fit in it and will everything bolt up to it without out extensive modifcations?

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
it should fit------BUT.....you will have to change EVERYTHING over. ECM, wiring harnesses, exhaust, possible transmission & wiring, up to you.....but I wouldn't suggest it unless you have lots of time and money.
