Ford Repair: oil and additives, lucas oil additives, transmission lubrication

hey whats up steve hows it going well i wanted to know what kinda oil and additives are good for an engine with 100000 miles on it and are there any additives for a auto trans and for the coolant thank you

  Honestly, I've never believed much in oil additives.  If your engine is bad enough off that good synthetic oil won't keep it running well, it's probably time for a rebuild.  I suppose stuff like Prolong or Lucas Oil additives might be worth a shot, but I prefer to stick to simple stuff when it comes to engine/transmission lubrication.  Hope this helps.
