Ford Repair: air bags, crash sensors, ford contour

I have a 2000 Ford Contour that was wrecked in a front end crash.  I want to replace the air bags, but am unsure of the proper procedure.  I have removed both the driver and passenger bags.  I have obtained used air bags and module from a local salvage yard.  Do I need to replace the crash sensors as well or is there a way to test them?  Is the risk great that the air bags will deploy if I make a mistake?

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
 This is the ONLY area that I won't help people with. The case being, that the risk is far to great to have a person get hurt or killed. I can not tell you strongly enough to bring it to the dealership for repair.
