Ford Repair: Exhaust Diameter, roller rockers, dual plane

Question
My question is what diamter exhaust should I run.  I know its more of an advice thing, but I can't get a straight answer out of anyone.  Here is what I got:
'67 289 in a Mustang bored .060 over
'82 Stock 302 Heads w/ Proform Aluminum Roller Rockers
Comp Cam 218 Intake 224 Exhaust (both at .050")
.493 Lift Intake .500 Exhaust (Hydraulic Flat Tappet)
Edelbrock Performer 289 Intake (dual plane--low rise)Also have 1 inch spacer.
Edlebrock 600 CFM carb.

  Well...you can go with 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" exhaust and be fine.  I'd go with 2 1/2" pipes and (if you're swapping them as well) 1 5/8" short tube headers.  This should leave you good backpressure while uncorking the exhaust side of the motor.  Hope this helps.
