Ford Repair: 95 Ford escort automatic transmission, torque converter, ford escort

I went out this morning to go to work (15" of snow) and started my car warmed the car up while i cleaned the snow when I when to drive away I put into drive and nothing drive / reverse does work either wheels don't spin. no sound of when shift the shifter in to all gears. I put the car in reverse and pushed foward  and the car rolled foward with out any resistance.

Help ! work going to kill me lol

Escorts had a problem with Torque Converter Leak-down; the transmission fluid in the converter leaks back into the transmission and it takes about 5 seconds to fill back up with fluid and build pressure.  The Torque Converter transfers power from the engine to the transmission.  Check the transmission fluid and make sure it is full; if it is, the converter might be bad.  If there is fluid, but no pressure in the transmission, the front pump might be bad.
