Ford Repair: 1988 ranger horn wont work, fuse, john john

i have a 1988 ranger and the horn wont work.i checked/cleaned the wire/contact at the horn and even swapped the horn with another one..same model .and still no go.what else can i look for..thank you

John your problem could be related to the horn relay, the horn switch, the fuse, or the wiring in between.  I'd start by checking the fuse and replacing it with a known good.  I'd then move to the relay, again replacing it with a known good.  From there it's a matter of tracing the wiring.
