Ford Repair: my 1995 ford cougar suddenly..., ford cougar, sorry dave

my 1995 ford cougar suddenly started making noise kind of like lifters tapping. but noise does not rev higher as rpm's do. i scanned engine trouble codes and resulted with a code 10 "No. one spark plug left rear actuator circuit malfunction" it says. will you tell me what and where i will find such "actuator"?I have never heard of spark plugs having  actuators unless that would be wires or ignition module?

I searched through the service manual for a 1984-1997 Cougar. The manual doesn't have a DTC listing for "code 10" or a description matching the one you stated. A P1000 code stands for "All Systems Pass". As for the noise,  I can't think of anything in or on the engine that could make a tapping noise that wouldn't increase with engine RPM.
