Ford Repair: ok my 98 mustang overheated..., exhaust pipes, light smoke
Questionok my 98 mustang overheated yesterday it had too much oil in it i drained the oil a little bit and now when u start it it smokes out the exhaust pipes could u tell me what is messed up on my car thanks
AnswerChristopher-
If you just overfilled the oil the smoke will probably hang around for a couple days and burn itself off unless it's a very thick smoke. Generally with an overfill the engine just burns off the excess. It's a pretty light smoke. If it starts to get thick, I'd have a shop look at it ASAP. Hope this helps.
