The hatch from trunk to car looks like it  should have a gasket.  Is this the case?  Where can I find one?

Yes, there should be deck lid weather stripping between the trunk and the car. You can purchase this for approximately 12.99 (minus S&H and tax) from Mustangs Unlimited. You can go to  their web site at www.mustangsunlimited.com. Hope that this helps.
