Ford Repair: air intake installation, cold air intake, ford ranger

is there much needed to install the following in my 2001 ford ranger 3.0? A50151208K  APC  INTAKE SYSTEM RNGER 98-03;INTAKE SYSTEMS INTIMIDATOR, 3.0L V6, WITH FILTER, SILVER  -----  thanks for any help or advice. roger

  I'm not familiar with APC's intake kit (honestly, if it were me, I'd steer clear of their products altogether) but every cold air intake kit I've ever installed I did just using basic hand tools.  Nothing special...just make sure you've got a basic tool kit and you should be set and have it on in less than an hour.  Hope this helps.
