Ford Repair: rear end, stock mustang, thunder bird

is the rear end from a 93 thunder bird 3.8 a 8.8 rear end i know that ford offers 5.0 engines in 93 tbirds also that is why i ask if so this rear end should bolt on to a mustang with no problems right            thanks

  A T-Bird 8.8" rear end will bolt right up to a '79-'93 Mustang without any problems at all.  The axles are a tad longer though, so the wheels will stick out about 3/4 of an inch farther than the stock Mustang rear.  Hope this helps.
