Honda Repair: Speedometer & Odometer

A few months ago while driving my 1997 Accord LX 2.2L non-vtech, the speedometer needle started bouncing around and eventually stopped working all together.  A day or two later my odometer stopped rolling miles. Where do I start in terms of repair.

This is a fairly common problem with these cars. Most of the time (not all) this problem is because of the VSS or Vehicle Speed Sensor. Here is a video that shows how to replace it.
