Honda Repair: srs warning light, hook up, instrument cluster

i had to replace the seat belt on the pass side front with one that dosent have the sensor hook up.what can i do to keep the srs light from coming on ? i tried jumpering the sensor that didnt work.

Jeff, replace the seatbelt with one that has the sensor. Remove the SRS bulb from the instrument cluster. Those are your only options.

***Your air bags will not deploy in case of an accident!***

Why? Because the SRS is on a closed wired system and if any of the components are defective or (in your case modified,) they will not deploy.
