Honda Repair: Check engine light on, honda civic dx, fuel quality

Hi Rick,

I have a Honda civic DX-G, 2003. The problem of my car is that the check engine light comes on from time to time (problem started 10 days ago)

The firt scan carried out 2 days ago indicate the following results :
              - cylinder #4 misfired
              - cylinder #2 misfired
              - random multi... misfired
Rhe second scan carried out today indicate : cylinder #1 misfired

The 2 scans were carried out by 2 different technicians who were not able to identify the problem.

Habib, misfires in all cylinders could be a few things. Tune-up condition is very important, plugs, air filter, valve adj. etc. Another thing could be EGR issues. Probably the most common thing would be poor fuel quality leaving deposits on the injectors. If theres a bit of a rough idle inspect the plugs and if they look O.K. have the injectors cleaned. RICK
