Honda Repair: manual window regulator (driver window), window regulator, bolts

hello,
     I would like to attempt to replace the manual window regulator on my 1988 accord dx.
Should I remove the driver side view mirror?
The window is closed so can I replace the regulator without taking the window out?
Do have any other suggestions that may help me?

Nelson, you have to remove the door panel to expose the regulator. No you do not have to remove the mirror. You do have to remove the window which is secured to the regulator with 2 bolts. After that you unbolt the regulator from the door(4 bolts) and remove. RICK
